Energy Transition and Decarbonization

BGF advances the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy systems across the Western Balkans, with a strong focus on Kosovo. Through policy advocacy, research, and stakeholder engagement, BGF promotes decarbonization, energy efficiency, and sustainable energy governance. The program also emphasizes community participation and social inclusion to ensure that the green transition is equitable, accessible, and beneficial for all.
