BGF supports municipalities in integrating climate objectives into planning and investment decisions while applying the BGF Policy Evaluation Toolkit and pre-feasibility tools to prioritise green investments based on social, environmental, and economic criteria. BGF also promotes practical measures—including sustainable mobility, clean air interventions, and nature-based solutions—and uses local evidence to inform national policy discussions on municipal finance, decentralisation, and investment support.
